Jamie Robinson IRC is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. We believe that everyone should be able to access our injury rehabilitation services and health information with ease, regardless of the technology they use or their physical abilities.
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. To help us achieve this, we have implemented the following features:
Logical Heading Structure: We use a clear and consistent heading hierarchy (H1, H2, etc.) so that screen reader users and those navigating via keyboard can easily understand the layout and jump to relevant sections.
Alternative Text for Images: All images that provide information have descriptive alt text. Decorative images are tagged so that they are ignored by assistive technologies, ensuring a clutter-free experience for screen reader users.
Clear Typography: We use legible fonts and maintain a clean layout to assist users with visual impairments or cognitive disabilities.
Mobile Optimisation: Our site is designed to be responsive, ensuring that patients can easily book appointments or find information on mobile devices and tablets.
The website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. While we have ensured that our structural foundation (headings and image descriptions) is solid, we are continuously working to audit our site for color contrast and keyboard-only navigation.
If you have difficulty using any part of our website, or if you have suggestions on how we can improve our digital accessibility, please get in touch. We are particularly keen to help if your injury or condition makes it difficult to navigate our online booking system.
